Dsquared2 wanted to explore this magical world full of arcane rituals and to passionately delve into the history of alchemy, arriving at the origin of this ancient art born in the remarkable Egypt of the Pharaohs.
The word alchemy derives from KEME-KHMI, a well-known hieroglyph that meant 'black earth'. The ancient Egyptians used this symbol to indicate their soil, which turned black and fertile after the floods of the Nile.
Earth is one of the four elements that compose the alchemic world. Earth is where everything lives, grows, and moves.
Dsquared2 re-elaborated this unique concept: black is the symbol of fertile soil and magical Egyptian nights full of secrets and passion.
Black is also the color of Eros...of the unknown and the magical game of mystery and seduction...
And black is the new soul of a new and exclusive fragrance: Potion Royal Black.

A unique bottle was designed to distinguish this contemporary potion.
Side grooves inspired by old-fashioned perfume bottles are given a modern, masculine look.
A glossy black lacquer finish and the gold logo give this project a sense of power and prestige.
Three labels decorating the Potion Royal Black bottle identify the product by its name, ingredients, and content.

Ingredients:
3 bergamot zests 1 handful of incense 4 pimento bays
3 rose essence drops
2 touches of Atlas cedar wood
2 spoons of Balcanic tobacco absolute 4 oud drops
1 touch of leather accord 1 pinch of cashmere wood 1⁄2 handful of gaiac wood 1 cup of musk
