Pur Minerals 5 Piece Start Now Kit Reviews & Swatches
I always said I am not a great fan of mineral makeup on my blog, and I tried various of brands including Bare Minerals I ended up with acnes, allergies, spots on my face. I stopped using them and literally hated them.
Pur Minerals changed my mind. I had a chance to try most of their makeup line and I loved them to bits.
The Starter pack consists of
1- Primer
2- Powder Foundation
3- Bronzer
4-Brush (powder-foundation)
5-Mascara
The best part of this set is, this set is travel friendly.
All can fit into your hand luggage
The foundation might look a bit light on my hand but it is actually a perfect match, for me I was fed up by too dark, too yellow and pink foundations.
If my foundations is too yellow (cool) I look like I have jaundice & if it is too pink (warm) i look extra dark.
I recently purchased a Lancome foundation from LHR World Duty free I thought it is a match but when I come home and use it is visibly pink, and when I use it I look darker than I am, but that is for another post.
What I can say for the foundation / powder is coverage is amazing, but I would much prefer to apply it with a sponge or a large powder brush, it is good for small areas but on wider areas I would prefer to use either a sponge applicator or a large powder brush.
It stays 4-5 hours maximum, I reapply it on my T-Zone when I need it.
The shade is Golden Medium / Moyen
One of the best bronzers I had, as I already have a dark skin, most of the bronzers are almost too dark, those bronzers look almost black on my skin, and it makes me more upset.
But this is one is golden, and it looks very natural on me, You will see the detailed swatches on another post.
This is Pure Minerals Sample size Primer, I quite liked it as it as not too liquid / fluid glycerin based primer, and it almost turns into powder, I like - prefer to apply this primer with my fingers.
