July 15 sees the nationwide roll-out of cosmetics brand Lancôme's new Hypnôse Star mascara. Taking inspiration from the style of the 1930s movies, the mascara has an innovative brush with three patents pending while the 'black diamond' effect fluid formula sculpts lashes precisely. The triangular shape brush is the combination of its two flat and two round sides: the two flat edges load lashes from root to tip while the two round edges separate and lengthen lashes. The advertising campaign features Daria Werbowy and cartoon character Betty Boop. Hypnôse Star is priced at £21 and is currently available at Selfridges and online.
