I have not used any The Body Shop Skin Care line in long time, as because they always discontinue their best products, it is not only on skin care, on their makeup line as well, I remember the days we had 7-8 Shimmer Cube eye shadow range in the shops now they drop this range to 5.
Their Shimmer Cubes is one of my favourites, maybe one of the few, and The Body Shop became one of the brands that I am getting off with / estranged to day after day. Those were the days when I was still a young girl I used to buy my hand care / bath/ body products from The Body Shop, but their not so kind sales people in the shops, and many more things created this situation.
Let's cut it short..
- The bottle comes with pipette, it is brilliant, this means we will be getting each and every single of the serum in the bottle. (at last the cat has caught a mouse)
- I love the bottle, it is a glass bottle not in a plastic bottle, even for this reason I can give ******* stars to this product and to The Body Shop of course :))
- The texture is a bit gel like, feels like a bit glycerin, it is not to liquid not so solid like a cream.
- I use this serum at nights before I go to sleep, some days I fall a sleep without applying any skin care but I apply all my products double size the next morning.
- It balanced my oily skin, my looks a lot better, but I am having whitish lump on my cheeks, I know that it is not an acne, and still sits on my cheek very stubborn on not going anywhere
- It is a bit sticky at first, so I apply it few drops at a time, if you need more, you can apply more once your skin absorbs it.
- As it is a serum do not have full expectations on the moisturising bit. I do not think that I moistens enough.
- Remember that this not an anti-ageing product, this is for the first sign of ageing, so it is not an ideal product for 37 and above.
- My recommendation is start to use this product as a teenager maybe starting from 16-30 from the age of 30 start mid duty anti ageing, from 35 mix your mid duty and heavy duty ones by the time you hit your 40's your skin will be looking much better friends :)
- 30 ml is £22.00 so it will not be breaking your bank
