I am not sure if you know I won two tickets two Scratch Star Awards, I was really looking forward to it, but I had a little accident and unfortunately I could not attend, that was so upsetting for me, both the accident and as well as not being able to attend to the night.
The stars of the nail industry shine brightly at the Scratch Stars Awards 2013
The stunning Supperclub in the heart of London provided the perfect setting for the 2013 Scratch Stars Awards, where actor and presenter Joe Swash had the honour of presenting the 20 winners with their coveted trophies.
The Scratch Stars Awards, hosted by Scratch Magazine recognise UK nail professionals and companies who are excelling in their field, and after the outstanding success of last year’s event, excitement had been building in the nail industry for some time.
Attendees were welcomed with a fabulous drinks reception before Joe Swash took to the stage to welcome sponsors to the stage to announce each winner. Each winner received a rapturous round of applause as they received their trophy from Joe and Scratch Magazine Editor, Alex Fox. The 20 hotly contested Scratch Stars Awards categories covered a wide range of disciplines including Nail Artist of the Year, Manicurist of the Year and Nail Salon of the Year.
“We couldn’t have asked for a better evening,” exclaimed an ecstatic Alex. “The venue was fantastic, Joe did an amazing job of presenting the event and the nail industry had a night they will never forget. Congratulations to all the finalists and winners – you are the people who make the nail industry in the UK so passionate, exciting, creative and innovative.”
