MYSTICAL MAKE UP AND BEAUTY

Finnish design brand Marimekko has partnered with Melbourne-based beauty brand Aesop for a range of products, inspired by the rituals of Nordic bathing culture. The Aesop-Marimekko Sauna Duet features a refreshing body scrub and body balm containing aromatic essential oils of fir needle, sage leaf and pine needle, and purifying ingredients to help detoxify the skin.

The Body Scrub utilises fine-milled pumice and bamboo stem extract to effect gentle mechanical exfoliation that cleanses the skin, while the Body Balm includes vitamins E, F, D and provitamin A, as well as botanical extracts selected for their moisturising and softening properties. The products are packaged in recyclable plastic jars featuring Marimekko's Vellamo print. The Aesop-Marimekko Sauna Duet launches late April 2013 at Marimekko stores, online and at Aesop signature stores in the US, Europe, Australia and Asia.
