Bourjois 10 days Anti Chop No Chips Nail Polish No:18 Swatches

n_18n_181

I take those two pictures from Bourjois website, you can see my own swatches below,   I want to show you sort of differences how the actual product looks  like on  brands website and the swatches and pictures of someone who is using it,

bourjois1bourjois2bourjois3bourjois4bourjois5bourjois6

Bourjois website shows this shade sort of blue, but this polish is not that blue.

I can say it is sort of blue with grey undertones or green with grey undertones but not that blue..

I love the brush, it really gives you an easy apply although i did not like the handle it just keeps slipping from my hand

this shade does not really looks nice on its own but if you apply a matte top coat it looks gorgeous.

I always say Bourjous please give names to your nail polishes… Just giving them names are so old fashioned not trendy…

Upcoming Collection: Christian Dior: Dior Mitzah Collection for Fall 2011

image

Introducing the Dior Mitzah Collection, inspired by Mitzah Bricard, the audacious and glamorous muse to Christian Dior.
Born in Paris to an English mother and Austrian father, Mitzah Bricard captured the fascination of Christian Dior at the very beginnings of the house. While she was officially responsible for the Dior hat collection, she played a key role in advising and influencing the couturier on many aspects of the brand, including the creation of the ―New Look.

Known for her love of leopard (she wore a leopard scarf wrapped around her wrist at all times), the color lilac and over-the-top jewelry, it was said that Mitzah could ―turn the ordinary into stylish.

“Ms. Bricard is one of those rare people whose only reason for living is elegance,” Monsieur Dior said of his muse, whose unique extravagance helped inspire many of his designs.

The collection, featuring a limited edition 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow palette stamped in the iconic leopard pattern, two Vernis shades inspired by the same earthy print and a tawny, shimmering brown Diorshow mascara, pays homage to this one-of-a-kind woman

The Collection
  • Mitzah 5-Couleurs Eyeshadow ($60.00) (Limited Edition)
  • Vernis in Camel / Ebony ($22.00 each) (Limited Edition)
  • Diorshow Mascara in Golden Brown ($24.50) (Limited Edition)
Mitzah Collector Palette

Each numbered, limited edition eyeshadowpalette reproduces the legendary ―Jungle‖ panther/ leopard print—now a signature print of the House of Dior—favored by MitzahBricard. Shades of elegantcamel, chocolate brown and beige shadow can be applied separately or combined to create a sumptuous tawny shade.

Applogies

I  am really so sorry that I am not updating my blog in few weeks, I am struggling with some technological problems
I had a trojan on my notebook which avoided me to rest my notebook to a previous day or  to back up my notebook, it  just shut down all my back doors,
I tried to remove trojans via anti virus and anti spam, and trojan removers unfortunately none worked.

I had to reformat my notebook, but this time after reformatting, this time neroback up system wiped out 2 of my external hard drives where i keep my documents, pictures, useful programmes , mac face charts, mac bible,  swatches for my blog and my backups of makeuptemple
Since last week i have been working hard to recover those files,  I could not recover all, forget about the documents my pictures/photos are really important to me,
I am still looking for some of files and folders to be able to find the last swatches I prepared for makeuptemple
I will try and update makeuptemple very soon….

Hair Care : Gielly Green : Gielly Green Hair Care Range

clip_image002

GiellyGreen’s latest venture has been to create a hair care range in line with the same ideals practiced at the salon. The Boutique Collection is a range based on the world’s finest natural substances, handpicked from around the globe for the unique care and qualities they deliver to the hair and scalp.

The key to the Boutique Collection is the unique combination of ingredients. Ancient minerals are combined with three of the world’s most prolific oils; Argan, Neem and Sea Buckthorn, which have been used in their native corners of the globe for countless generations.

These ancient minerals are mined from a unique location, at the lowest point on earth, 1500m deep inside the sea bed by a hot spring. At this depth UV rays cannot penetrate and degrade them, meaning they are so pure that they have become super-charged. These minerals provide superior nutrition for hair as they are absorbed directly into the follicle, in addition their super-charge boosts the effectiveness of all the other ingredients.

Nothing is more beautiful than strong, healthy, shiny hair.

The products contain NO carcinogens, NO parabens, NO SLS, and NO synthetic fragrance. The raw materials are harvested, processed in a natural manner, and manufactured in the UK using a company who provides employment opportunities to the blind and mentally disabled.

GiellyGreen are proud that the Boutique Collection is a 95% natural product range.

The Boutique Collection – full range:

Volume Shampoo (£16) – will add strength, thickness and shine to your hair.

Repair Shampoo (£16) – is the ultimate solution for hair in need of nourishment.

Classic Shampoo (£16) – will gently support, condition and add shine to your hair.

Classic Conditioner (£16) – has a light formulation designed to fortify and smooth tangled hair every day.

Nourish Mask (£29.50) – a mineral based formulation that will deliver nourishment without adding weight to the hair.

Repair Mask (£29.50) – a mud based formulation with ultra-active ingredients that will deliver ultimate nourishment by penetrating the cuticle, and restoring the hair’s healthy condition.

Argan Rescue (£19.50) a natural non-greasy remedy that revives weak, tired, dull hair whilst adding shine and smoothing frizz.

Key Ingredients – facts

Argan Oil – is obtained from the fruit of the ancient Argania Spinosa tree, native to Morocco. Argan oil is non-greasy and non-oily, rich in natural antioxidants and vitamin E. It naturally hydrates and locks in moisture to prevent frizziness, flyaway and hard to control hair leaving a natural shine.

Neem Oil – is an ancient Indian remedy used to treat the scalp and restore its natural moisture balance. It is one of Mother Nature’s best cures for dry, brittle hair and dandruff. Hair is instantly more silky, shiny and strong.

Sea Buckthorn Oil – is produced from the golden-orange berries and nutrient rich seeds of the Sea Buckthorn shrub found in Russia. Consisting of many vitamins and essential fatty acids the oil is a powerful anti-oxidant. It nourishes and protects skin and hair from damaging sun-rays and promotes tissue regeneration.

Ancient Minerals and Mud – have been sourced from the Dead Sea which has been renowned for centuries due to the therapeutic properties its salty waters bring. Minerals treat the scalp and hair, injecting moisture, increasing blood circulation and supporting hair growth. Hair is left healthy and shiny.

GiellyGreen – the salon background

Fred Gielly and Shai Greenberg, two talented men who came from countries worlds apart with different outlooks and lifestyles, met in the course of their work and discovered that they both had a common ideal that was stronger than all their differences combined. Fred and Shai established GiellyGreen where they share their love of creativity and style while still honouring local traditions and styles.

GiellyGreen was established to share the ideals of unity, professionalism and service. The salon houses a collection of hair designers, assistants and beauty experts from all over the world, committed to providing a service of the very highest standards to each and every single customer. They use comfortable state of the art equipment, and adapt each treatment or service to the individual customer’s desires and requirements, making every appointment a unique, personal experience.

It is the combination of these elements, handpicked and brought together to work in harmony which make the salon such a success - a principle which Shai and Fred have applied to their products.

NYX 10 Color Eyeshadow The Runaway Collection Versus Swatches

nyxversus

NYX The Runway Collection Smokey Eyes vs. NYX The Runway Collection Casting Call Swatches

nysmokey7
As I have mentioned when I did a post on NYX casting call, NYX Smokey Eyes and NYX Casting Call are pretty similar almost identical if we skip we shades on NYX Smokey Eyes Palette
If they had Casting Call those days when I purchased NYX Smokey Eyes I would probably buy Casting Call,
It is pretty strong and this is a proper Smokey eyes palette, When I wear Smokey Eyes I use dark shades, dark blacks and this is really good, it is still dusty and that is the weakest point of NYX eye shadow palettes and eye shadows they are really dusty and I always have to swipe the remains with a fan brush.. I have a spare fan brush for those purposes I use Benefit Fan Brush it is small and pretty handy for sweeping eye shadows,
