A pressed-powder based, SPF 15 primer that evens out skintone, reduces pores, and creates a clean, receptive canvas for foundation application.

What it does:

Makeup artists have long known that a light dusting of translucent powder BEFORE applying foundation allows for smoother application and a reduction in the appearance of enlarged pores. Now, Primerstone makes this makeup trick available to everyone, with the added benefits of SPF! It contains laricyl, a mushroom extract that acts as a gentle astringent, minimizes pores, and provides long-lasting hydration. The platinum in this product works to stimulate cell turnover—as electrons transfer between the platinum in the powder and the natural metal ions found in the skin—and its light-scattering effect also helps to reduce wrinkles. Other ingredients zinc, magnesium, and mica allow for compatibility with both mineral-based and liquid foundations. Metallic elements help give the powder heft, and the fine-milled texture bonds seamlessly to the skin's surface. Foundation applied over this canvas will have more staying power.
