I do not know why some people say they did not like the colour and it doesnt look like it is in the pot,
it may not look like the same colour on your skin as it looks like in the pictures, they use various kind of techniques in photography,
and maybe your skin tone is not a good match for french cuff but i do use it everyday, and love it,, try to use it with a mixing medium to get much amount of colour to your lids. Use it with a primer. use some cream pink creamy e/s to get the colour..
